Volunteers are the life-blood of LPCC. They give their time and compassion to clients who need someone to believe in them. The importance of a volunteer position cannot be overemphasized! We hope you'll consider this as you seek to partner with us.
Receptionist: Your welcoming face provides a warm greeting to clients. As they enter our center, you'll begin the client in-take process with her. In between clients you will answer the phone and offer limited administrative support to LPCC staff.
Office Support Staff: Office workers offer support by stuffing envelopes, preparing mailings, making phone calls, bringing deliveries to churches, and more tasks as needed.
Church Ambassador: You can help strengthen support for LPCC by serving as a strong connector and active liaison between LPCC, your pastor, and your church community. You'll receive orientation and helpful resources to support and engage your church. We invite church participation throughout the year at various events and to honor the Sanctity of Human Life each January.
Client Advocate: When a woman reaches out for help in her pregnancy, you'll become her advocate. You'll listen to her story and seek to understand her concerns. As you offer information about pregnancy options, your goal is to support and equip her to make an informed decision - with the hope and encouragement that she would choose a life-giving option for herself and her unborn child. Training is provided: At training, volunteers will learn how to listen effectively, how to discuss tough topics, and how to encourage and guide clients who need help.
Class Facilitator: Coach small groups or individuals though curriculum on pregnancy, childbirth, parenting, and more!
